EVERYTHING!!
Yes, we know the past. We know our scores have been among the lowest in the state. We know the headlines, AND it’s been nearly 20 years since we received new operating funds. But here’s what you might not know: everything is changing and it's changing for the better!
We’ve got new leadership, a refocused Board of Education, and a levy support team that’s doing more than just talking, we’re putting in the work.
From academics to athletics, mental health to workforce training, Jefferson Twp. Local School District is building something bold, intentional, and real. We’re not chasing the past; we’re defining our future.
Our goal is simple but ambitious and it's to become the most improved school district in Montgomery County within three years. And we’re well on our way.
Jefferson Township Local Schools are transforming from the inside out, the strategic plan has real goals, not empty promises. For the first time in years, momentum is on our side. Today, we’re rewriting the narrative.

We’re not hiding from the data; we’re using it to drive change:
- Literacy Improvement Goals
- Increasing K–3 reading proficiency by 60–70%
- Fully implementing the Science of Reading
- Daily small-group interventions to close learning gaps
Graduation Goal
- Raising graduation rates to 90–100% through targeted supports, tutoring, and career readiness programs.
Fine Arts Expansion
- Reintroducing music, arts, and creative expression to build whole-child development and student confidence
Community Collaboration
- Hosting joint meetings with township officials for transparency and alignment
- Monthly leadership accountability sessions tied to our public Strategic Plan

On Tuesday, November 4th, we need your YES vote on the 1% Earned Income Tax Levy. What you should know:
- It does NOT raise property taxes
